LZEW300 Non-Stick Housing (LZEW300-NS-SC and LZEW300-NS-DC)

The LZEW300 is the first machine vision washdown light available in an FDA-compliant non-stick coated aluminum housing. Due to the nature of the coating, it is not recommended to use aggressive mechanical or ultrasonics for cleaning. While chemically inert to most compounds, it is recommended to clean the non-stick housing with a rinse of isopropyl alcohol and de-ionized water. Forced air at low volumes can also be used, as well as soft cloth or cotton wipes. Wire or nylon brushes, scotch-bright pads, or other abrasive tools should not be used.

Lens Options

The LZEW300 from Smart Vision Lights is available in three standard lens variations (additional variations available upon request from Machine Vision Direct)

Lens Option Beam Angle

Narrow 10 Deg

(Standard)

10 Degrees

The standard lens option uses a 10° beam angle lens. Standard lenses create a narrow beam of illumination and are used for long working distances.

Wide Lens

30 Degrees

Wide, 30° angle-cone lenses create a large area of illumination. They create a floodlight effect and can be used for shorter working distances.

Line Lens

10 x 50 Degrees

The line lens option uses a 10° x 50° beam angle lens. They
project a thin, narrow beam of illumination.

Working Distance

Smart Vision Lights recommends the LZEW Series be used at a working distance between 200 mm to 1000 mm

Daisy Chain

The LZEW300 daisy-chain option provides the ability to use cables to connect together two or more LZEW300 lights. The lights are able to be spaced apart from each other. Up to six LZEW300 lights can be daisy-chained together.

Note: For this feature, a daisy chain model with two M12 Connectors must be purchased. Daisy Chain model is specified by a "-DC" callout in the part string

Nano-Drive Driver

To keep up with faster image acquisition by high-speed cameras, lighting applications require light sources to reach full intensity in a shorter amount of time. To meet this demand, the NanoDrive has been developed to deliver full power to a light in 500 nanoseconds or less. The NanoDrive is designed to allow tens of amps to reach the LEDs within nanoseconds, resulting in a light reaching its full LED power / light intensity within that time frame. All NanoDrive lights are able to be set to continuous or OverDrive modes, depending on user configuration. NanoDrive technology is patent-pending.

Safestrobe

SafeStrobe is a unique technology that applies safe working parameters to ensure high current LEDs are not damaged by driving them beyond their limits, such as maximum strobe time or duty cycle. This is especially beneficial for overdriving our high current LEDs.

Smart Vision Link

With integrated SmartVisionLink, the LSR300 can be used with Smart Vision Light€™s Bluetooth module (BTM-1000*). Users can install the SmartVisionLink app on Android or Apple phones and tablets to configure lighting parameters for each of the four lighting zones. Zone parameters include 10-100% intensity for both continuous and OverDrive strobe modes, as well as zone-disable. After parameters are set and saved, the BTM-1000 can be removed from the LSR300 and settings will be retained in LSR300E€™s static memory. The SmartVisionlink app is available at no cost from the Google Play Store or Apple€™s App Store. Smart Vision Link

*The BTM-1000 is sold separately.

Connecting a BTM-1000 Module

The BTM-1000 can be connected directly to a light or attached to a jumper cable that is connected to a light. Once the light's intensity is set to desired level, the BTM-1000 can be removed from the light or cable. The pigtail end of the BTM-1000 is connected directly to the light or to the cable attached to the light.
