Smart Vision Lights has announced the end of life of the LX150 series bar light. The LX150 was one of SVL's original bar lights, pioneering the integrated driver form factor for controllable lighting.
The LX150 was functional in constant on mode, or could be strobed (although not overdrive strobed, for this functionality they created the ODLX150).
The LX series was available in eight variants, the LX150, LXB150, ODLX150, ODLXB150, LX300, LXB300, ODLX300, and ODLXB300 All eight series have now been discontinued as of Q4 2026. The LX300 and ODLX300 were discontinued in late 2024, while last time buys were announced for the LX150 and ODLX150. As soon as component inventory is depleted, these items will no longer be available for purchase.

The recommended replacement for the LX150 is the LSR150.
The LSR150 is not a direct drop in for this product. The LSR series is dimensionally different, significantly brighter, and utilizes the SVL Standard M12 A-Coded 5 Pole Connector. It also utlizes the significantly improved Multi-Drive Driver which allows for additional capabilities and more versatile use cases when compared to the LX Series
The existing power able for the LX series will have to be replaced with a 5 Pin M12 A-Coded cable, such as the following cables:

To reduce the intensity of the LSR150 to better match the LX150 series, we recommend using the IVP-C1 dimming accessory.
